Questions worth asking.

I don't live in the U.S. and have no SSN. Can I still do this?+
Yes, and it is the case we are built around. We form the LLC or corporation remotely, obtain the EIN without a Social Security number, and provide the registered-agent address in the state from day one. You never need to set foot in the country.
What happens when legal mail arrives?+
Service of process and state correspondence are scanned and posted to your dashboard within 24 hours of receipt, and you are notified by email the moment a new document lands, wherever you are.
Do prices go up at renewal?+
No. The agent is $99 a year in every state, and it renews at the number you signed up at. There is no introductory rate and no step-up. The only thing that can move is the state's own fee, if that state changes it.
Are there setup or cancellation fees?+
None. There is no onboarding fee to start, and you control every renewal from the dashboard. You can cancel or move a company to another agent whenever you choose.
Which state should I form in?+
If you have no U.S. physical presence, the usual answer is Wyoming or New Mexico, on cost and privacy. If you plan to raise venture money, Delaware. If you have staff or an office somewhere, form in that state, because operating there means registering there anyway. We are not a law firm and this is not legal advice.
